Africa is the place of complete open space, the place where animals and plants run wild and free, but is it always going to be like this…
The world is changing, and more importantly the environment is changing. Africa is one of the hottest location on the planet, and where it is positioned, on the equator line, it can only get so much hotter. It is hard for us to judge just how much Africa will change in the next 100 years, one thing that is clear, is that it will be different.
The temperature all over the world is rising every year, places like Africa won’t be able to support a decent amount of life in around one hundred years. We all try to say that we will do our bit to help save the planet, but how many of us actually do something about it, you will find the numbers are quite low. I don’t want to be Mr Doom and Gloom but people are too unpredictable and only care about there own families and nuclear lives; the planet is something considered for the government to deal with.
So what is the best immediate option? Heading on a holiday to Africa now could be a very good idea. The Safari holidays give you amazing insight into what Africa is all about, and the chance to see these animals in the wild will allow you to experience something that millions of others never will. Although everybody can go and see a lion somewhere, we don’t all have the chance to see one in the wild, and these chances are ever growing slimmer.
These animals are also endangered by poachers; people think that because they are in reserves or national parks that they are now safe and the poaching has stopped. This is not the case, they are still being killed, although not in the numbers it was, it is still happening.
So consider Kenya holidays in the Masai Mara reserve, or Zambia holidays and visit this glowing location while you can.
With all of the fervor these days about the dangers of global warming many people are concerned about the fate of Antarctica. In fact, there is a growing trend of concerned citizens turning to homemade solar water heater systems to help our sick earth. An even more passionate group are embracing the next step to homemade solar water heater and that is the homemade solar generator. Ensure you do your research if you are going to do this. Electrical energy is not for kids. Start by reading homemade solar water heater system and solar generator reviews. Doing this gives you the power to save the earth and Antartica. If it weren’t for our massive reliance on polluting sources of energy, there is fear that Antarctica would not be in such trouble. The fears are that the ice that makes up the continent is melting faster than normal and not freezing back as it usually does with a very even ebb and flow. The concerns are that this will eventually raise the sea level enough to put major cities and land masses under water and leave millions of people homeless and/or even dead.
So who are the people claiming these assertions? There are many scientists who are looking at the earth’s weather patters and systems for a long time in an attempt to interpret them. The earliest reason for doing this was not to measure the affect of the greenhouse gases that are magnifying the suns intensity and causing the heat to stay within it. They originally wanted to learn about the earth so that they could by recognizing signs be could warn of natural disasters like earth quakes and hurricanes and tsunamis. Since they have kept data to look for these signs they have noticed disturbing trends in things like the average temperature and the increasing sea level and other things like the sized of the ice cap over Antarctica and they seem to only be going in one direction which spells trouble.
Then they start seeking out answers to why this is occuring and the answer is typically global warming. They cite the increase in certain gases like CO2 which are purportedly on the rise do to the millions of different engines that burn fossil fuels across the world. Supposedly this changes the qualities of the atmosphere that hold in the energy from the sun much like a green house does. What is not commonly known is that these are all hypotheses to try and understand the general direction of the environment that no one currently has a grasp of. It is a fact that Antarctica melts in areas and at different times. Since we have begun keeping records of these events, there is evidence that the land mass is shrinking, but this is very erroneous thinking.
Of course it has only been a few decades since we have had the ability to make specialized measurements like this. It may seem like that is enough time to make good predictions about the earth which is millions of year old (some say billions). You just can’t make definitive statements about trends that may just be natural cycles that are 500 years in length. No one has yet even measured 100 or 50 year cycles. So we must cool our jets and not take ourselves so seriously. We know much less about Antarctica’s slow meltdown and many other phenomena that appear to be trending towards the same critical point than we realize. We may not know the truth but that should not stop you from making a difference by putting in a homemade solar water heater or solar generator. Make and impact today.
